Summary: Jill Hollander will discuss the surveys and interactions that she used between her office and the community to engage and gain feedback. Over the past 4 years, the Elder Abuse and Animal Cruelty Unit has touched nearly 20,000 citizens through outreach designed to educate and prevent cruelty to vulnerable victims including animals. Jill’s wide use of technology for the past 22 years in her position has garnered recognition and support from the public in cases involving animals, elders, and domestic violence.
