- Fort Myers men indicted for capital murder in separated drug sale, armed robbery deaths June 27, 2024
- Florida: Michael Maree, 66 was indicted for distributing fentanyl causing the death of Nick Adams, 36, who died after snorting a powder given to him by Maree. In addition to the distribution charges, Maree is also facing explosive possession charges for ordinances found in his home due to an unrelated investigation. Courtney Parchman, 31, was indicted for the capital murder of a security guard in the early morning of June 1. Parchman was robbing an arcade when he allegedly murdered the guard.

- Texas: Brandon Dale, 43, was convicted by a jury for the premeditated capital murder of Salah Eid. Eid’s phone was found in a storage container owned by Dale, Dale and two accomplices were seen on video camera stealing items from Eid’s home, including his vehicles, and text messages were recovered showing Dale’s planning of the robbery-homicide. Dale was sentenced to life in prison.

- Arkansas: Uriel Martinez, 20, has pleaded guilty to the shooting death of Joseph Cuneo on May 6, 2022. Martinez has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

- Alabama: Murice Sashington, 40, was found guilty and sentenced to life without parole for the murder of Quincy Kemp, and the attempted murder of Shanda Avery.

- Florida: Wade Wilson, 30, was convicted for the murder of Melton and Diane Ruiz on June 12, 2024. The friends and family of the deceased testified in the penalty phase and the jury has recommended the death penalty. Judge Nicholas Thompson will impose a sentence in July.
