Typical Responsibilities
Prosecuting misdemeanors and criminal infractions (e.g., assaults, driving under the influence, larceny, regulatory offenses, and code enforcement).
Participating in any court-directed programs such as the Coordinated Resources Project (CRP).
Managing all stages of trial and appeal, including legal research, briefing, and oral argument.
Sharing 24/7 calls and weekend arraignments.
Assisting other City departments by answering legal questions and drafting legal opinions as needed.
Performing other related work as required.
